New Moon: This is the phenomenon when Moon falls in between the Earth and Sun. In this case, we see the opposite side of the Moon which is being illuminated by the planet Sun. This time Moon goes too close to the Sun.
Blue Moon: Today’s world consider this phenomenon when a full moon falls twice in a month. It is relatively a new concept but originally, it was considered blue moon when it occured 4 times in a season. One season contains 3 full moons.
Black Moon: According to the sources, it is believed that this phenomenon is taken in to consideration when 2 new moons fall in a month similar to that of full moon. This is the term which is also used in case of no full moon appears in a month. However, it is very rare to have no full moon in a month. It may happen in the month of February due to lesser days than the full Moon cycle of 29. 53 days.
