Reiki Symbols are the main power of a Reiki Healer and this is the reason that no Reiki practitioner wants to disclose them. However, this article is telling almost everything about them, but the main thing is missing so that nobody could misuse them. One cannot become a Reiki Healer after reading this content. Even if a person gets to know everything about Reiki, then also he/she cannot perform this therapy because an initiation is necessary. Basically, these are Japanese symbols invented by Dr. Mikao Usui (the founder of Reiki). These Reiki Symbols are alive like all of us. It is like as if they are some different creatures. They are a part of that supreme power, which is not visible. We cannot see them or touch, but can feel them like air or sensations. Once you get initiated and practice these symbols regularly, they start working like your friend. You can do anything with them, like booking your space in a high crowd mall's parking area in advance or attracting someone towards you. These symbols can do whatever you want, from making you beautiful to healing ailments. Symbols are basically used to perform Reiki healing in a short form. In other words, it is a shortcut for a time consuming process of Reiki healing.

Reiki is such a big art that there are levels divided to learn all about it sequentially. Even if you try to learn all levels in one go, it might turn disastrous for your health. The main reason for segregating it into levels was to distribute the power. An ordinary man cannot bear the pressure of a strong power in one initiation.

There are basically four levels and symbols are not the part of the first level, they come in second level. The second level is consisted of only three symbols that are explained in detail below. Third level is known as Master Level and the course is consisted of thirteen symbols. However, at many places, the Grandmaster teaches only one major symbol in third degree. We will discuss about all the symbols in detail below. Sometimes, people don't feel anything after learning Reiki or getting initiated. It happens because of the lack of belief. This art demands blind faith with true emotions. One has to keep one thing in mind that it belongs to the almighty and if someone uses it for some evil purposes then the power flies away.

During attunement or initiation, the person is taken to the meditation state, where he accepts all the powers and showers of the divine light. As we read above, the second degree is consisted of three symbols, namely:

Cho Ku Rei
Sei He Ki
Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen
Dai Ko Myo

Cho Ku Rei

Cho Ku Rei is the first and main symbol of Reiki. It makes the base for all other Reiki symbols. This symbol works as a friend of yours and specially used to charge and purify things. It also has a sub category known as grounding symbol, which is used to fuse the other power. You can talk with him, tell your problems and he will sort them out. The color of this symbol is white. If one cannot remember the symbol then he/she can imagine a white light coming from heaven and flowing through his/her eyes to heal the subject.

Now the question comes, how to use these symbols?

Well, there are some defined methods, basically it is all about the position of hands and fingers and sometimes eyes as well. All you need is deep concentration to feel the flow of energy to gear its effect. You may get the in-depth detail while going for the attunement or initiation.

Sei He Ki

The Sei He Ki symbol is used for emotional and mental healing. Like, you can heal someone's brain to hear you or to change his/her mind. You can change many things by symbolizing your brain to think in that way. Once you start creating that vibration of change, the change has to take place. Further, it can heal your brain to save you from bad thoughts growing in sub-conscious or conscious mind. It is very helpful for controlling your brain as it heals both right and left side of the brain.

Sei He Ki symbol is of pink color. The practitioners can do almost everything with this symbol. From healing relationship issues to the issues that might occur in future. Nervousness, depression, fear or anger; everything has got this one solution.

You can enhance looks, memory, concentration, relationship or any other desired thing. If during attunement, a person starts releasing his/her emotions then this symbol is used to draw all of it to clean the person. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen

Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen is made up of five symbols, as you can see by the name that it consists of five words. This symbol is used to make connection and transmit Reiki across time, say in future or in past. By using this symbol you can connect yourself to anything anywhere for sending Reiki.

Golden is the color of this holy Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen symbol. This holy symbol connects you with the Akashik Records that are basically the life records for each soul. So, this means that you can heal your issues of previous births if they are troubling you in present. Also, you can heal your future to make it trouble free.

This was all about the symbols of Reiki's Second Degree or Second Level. Further, we will get to know about the third degree symbols.

There are total thirteen symbols in third degree. However, at some places grandmasters give only one symbol because that one symbol is enough for everything. It is known as Dai Ko Myo.

Dai Ko Myo

Dai Ko Myo is the most powerful symbol amongst all. It can heal anything from anywhere of anytime or any place. This symbol basically heals the soul and related problems, which might affect body or a developed disease due to karmic issues.

The essence of this symbol is almighty's light and signifies clairvoyance and wisdom.

However, it is said that there are twenty-one symbols on whole, but it is still controversial as the exact number of the symbols is still not confirmed by anyone. After third level, the last level is Grand-mastership. In this degree, you get the power to initiate others and create Reiki healers. As this is the final stage, you get to know everything about Reiki and called as the "Reiki Grand-master".
